2026 Competitive Team Assessments

Region 14 is holding assessments across all SCHOOL YEAR age groups in preparation for the Spring and Fall 2026 soccer seasons. This will allow a fair and open evaluation for all interested players. We are blessed with a fantastic coaching staff with loads of experience and a focus on AYSO core values. Regardless of age group, our kids are in great hands.

Assessments will be held the first two weeks in December, right after Thanksgiving. They will be hosted at LA Galaxy Turf fields off of Maple from 4:30pm to 8pm.

Girls divisions assessments will be held on Tuesday Dec, 2nd and Thursday, Dec 11th.

Boys division assessments will be held on Thursday Dec, 4th and Tuesday, Dec 9th.

These assessments are open to everyone. After the initial tryout period, coaches may hold additional evaluation sessions with players to confirm a good fit. We will form Alliance and EXTRA teams that conform to the school year age groups. Depending on the depth of the talent pool, we may form multiple teams in each age group.

IMPORTANT NOTES: All players interested in playing on a Region 14 competitive team this Spring should attend these assessments--even the players that are currently on teams. It is also HIGHLY recommended that players attend in their natural age group based on birth dates. If they are interested in playing up on an older team, they are welcome to attend for that as well. But please keep in mind that unless a child is one of the most skilled players in the older age group we advise that they remain in their natural division for the best developmental experience. This also directly aligns with the main purpose of the transition to school year, which is to keep the kids playing with their classmates.
