In order to be an active volunteer in AYSO, you must volunteer within the system, and complete all of your training and safety modules. You can find instructions on the training and safety modules by clicking on the "Become a Referee" link under the "Referees" tab above.
Here are instructions on how to volunteer as a referee in Sports Connect:
- Go to www.ayso14.org. Click on the "LOGIN" link in the upper right hand corner.
- Under your name, click on the link "Find Volunteer Roles."
- Under the correct season, find the role of "Referee." You will probably have to click on the arrow to scroll to the right to find it.
- Select the person who will be volunteering.
- It does not matter what age group you select to volunteer for. Just pick one. Please only pick one though.
- Review the various prompts at the bottom of the screen. Accept where needed and proceed to complete the volunteer registration process.
